Privacy Policy
Last updated August 3, 2026 — covers site visitors, customers, and the capture participants behind our datasets.
Overview
Delovantage Corp Private Limited, trading as Delovantage AI Labs ("Delovantage", "we", "us"), operates delovantage.com and is the entity responsible for the personal information described in this policy, except where a separate agreement identifies another responsible party. We capture real-world video and sensor data through trained participants, annotate it, and license datasets to AI companies for training and evaluation. This policy covers two different groups of people because the information involved is genuinely different:
- Site visitors and customers — anyone browsing delovantage.com, submitting the contact form, or licensing a dataset from us.
- Capture participants — the people who wear cameras or sensors for approved capture programs. Their recorded footage and sensor data can form part of licensed datasets, subject to their consent, privacy, and other applicable rights.
Information We Collect — Site Visitors & Customers
You provide directly
- Name, work email, company, phone number — when you submit the contact / data request form
- Details of your data request (industry, license type, use case)
Collected automatically
- IP address, browser/device type, referring page
- Pages viewed and time on page (via Google Analytics / Meta Pixel / LinkedIn Insight — only after you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner)
Information We Collect — Capture Participants
Gig workers who join a capture program wear a body-mounted camera and, depending on the program, additional sensors (LIDAR, IMU, tactile). Depending on the dataset, this can include:
- First-person video and audio of the environments they work in
- Hand pose, body pose, and gaze-tracking data derived from that footage
- Facial landmarks of the participant and of bystanders who appear incidentally in frame
- Basic demographic and role information relevant to the capture task (e.g. "warehouse picker")
Every participant signs a capture agreement before any recording begins, spelling out what is recorded, how it will be licensed, and for how long. No capture happens without that signed, informed consent — see the section below.
Consent for Capture Participants
- Consent is obtained in writing, in the participant's language, before recording starts.
- Participants are told exactly what is captured, who it will be licensed to (by category, e.g. "AI companies building computer vision models"), and whether the license is exclusive or non-exclusive.
- Participants may withdraw consent and request deletion of their unlicensed footage at any time before it has shipped to a customer, by contacting contact@delovantage.com.
- Once a dataset has been delivered to a licensee under signed agreement, removal from that licensee's copy is handled per the terms of that specific license — we can no longer unilaterally delete data already delivered, but we stop including that participant's footage in any future deliveries.
How We Use Information
- Site/customer data: responding to data requests, sending requested datasets or quotes, running the site (analytics, security, fraud prevention).
- Capture data: annotation (labeling, QC), packaging into the licensed formats described on our homepage, and delivery to the licensee(s) named in the capture agreement.
- We do not sell personal data. Capture datasets are licensed, not sold outright — see Terms of Use for what a license does and doesn't permit a customer to do.
Disclosure & Data Licensing
Capture datasets are disclosed only to the specific licensee(s) named in a signed licensing agreement, under the exclusive or non-exclusive terms agreed at the time. Licensees are contractually prohibited from re-identifying participants or redistributing raw footage outside the scope of their license.
We also share data with service providers who help us run the business — hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing for capture-worker compensation — under standard confidentiality terms. We may disclose information where required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition of the business.
Data Security & Retention
Raw and annotated capture data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain capture data for as long as needed to fulfil active and reasonably anticipated licensing agreements, and site/contact-form data for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry plus a reasonable follow-up period. No security system is perfect — we can't guarantee absolute security, but we don't treat that as an excuse to be careless.
Your Rights
Depending on where you're located (this applies whether you're a site visitor, a customer contact, or a capture participant), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion, subject to the capture-licensing limits described above
- Opt out of marketing communications and non-essential cookies
To exercise any of these, email contact@delovantage.com.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the site, and — only if you accept them in the cookie banner — analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight) to understand traffic and measure ad performance. You can change your preference at any time; see the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
